an inspiration blog or online scrapbook (of sorts).

loves: crime dramas of the 1970s and 1980s, earl grey tea with jam and scones, concrete high-rise buildings, ‘Someone’s Rocking My Dreamboat’ by The Ink Spots, secondhand bookshops , Jimmy Stewart, when you leave your window open on a summers day and then it starts to rain and you can smell the rain in your bedroom, Field Music, lukewarm bath water, playing my ukulele badly, seemingly tacky knitwear, Katharine Hepburn NOT Audrey Hepburn, warm socks on cold feet, bagels, Fred and Ginger dancing, stealing flowers from next door’s garden, Ealing comedies, whisky, lots of whisky, pale skin, staying out all night, arriving home just as its starting to get light, spending all day in bed, ‘Pet Sounds’ by The Beach Boys, littering my life with train tickets and yarn and buttons, memorising bus routes, the soft rain that feels like pins and needles on your lips, and four-part male harmonies.

hates: about 80% of modern popular music,( if BBC radio 1 plays it... I usually hate it) early mornings, and people who are narrow-minded, misogynistic, racist, homophobic, or prejudice in any way or anyone who cannot think for themselves.
